Artist Open House for LDF 2026

To mark London Design Festival, we opened the doors to Stephen Wright’s House of Dreams for an intimate evening exploring the relationship between artist, object and space.

Part of Porter Presents: Encounters, the evening brought together London’s creative community for a rare opportunity to experience the house in the company of its creator. Guests were invited to explore the rooms before gathering for a conversation with Stephen, tracing the ideas, memories and processes that have shaped the house over more than two decades.

More than a visit to an artist’s home, the evening offered a different perspective on the spaces we inhabit: how instinct, collection and personal expression can create an interior entirely outside convention.
