Porter; The Apartment

A temporary Gallery in Mayfair, a space to be lived with, moved through and experienced. Bringing together twentieth-century design, contemporary art and sound, we explored how the objects we collect shape a space, and how their meaning can shift through context.

We created a space that sat between an exhibition and an interior, bringing art, furniture and objects into conversation rather than presenting them in isolation. Visitors were invited to move through the space, sit within it and experience the collection as a whole.

Iconic works were placed alongside unexpected finds, custom silk works by Cesca Dvorak and sound by Friendly Pressure, creating new relationships between different periods, materials and disciplines.
