Wilton Dinges, who founded Emeco in 1944, compared the 1006 Navy Chair to a Rodin Sculpture – a hand crafted piece of art. The chairs were first built for the US Navy in World War II. It takes 77 individual steps to make the 1006 Navy Chair. It is guaranteed for Life. 100% Aluminium (80% recycled) with a hand brushed finish.
